Life Expectancy in the U.S. Varies Widely by Region, in Some Places is Decreasing

Though the nation's overall longevity is increasing, there are various regions throughout the United States in which it is stagnant, and even decreasing in some instances, according to county-by-county studies conducted over the past two decades.
