Dr. Darrell Rigel is a clinical professor of dermatology at New York University Medical Center. He explains various types of skin cancer and the new regulations on sunscreen products. Dr. Rigel says that the US has only an average rating when it comes to skin care and sunscreen regulations.

Some things you may need to know are; there is a difference between sunscreen and sun block. Starting next year, sunscreen products will need to print much more information on the labels. This information includes how long the product will last before wearing off, whether the product protects from dangerous broad-spectrum light. Dr. Rigel recommends that you use a product that is at least SPF 30, water resistant for at least 80 minutes, and blocks harmful UV Rays.
