Women outnumber men 320 to 150 at Edgewater Pointe, a retirement facility in Boca Raton, Fla. But more ladies are able to cut a rug these days, thanks to paid and volunteer dance partners. Hewitt Bruce, 58, a former cruise ship performer, says the physical benefits outweigh the $20 an hour he gets paid to cha-cha: "The more I dance … the more I know I am helping preserve the quality of a person's life."
