En español | Mayte Prida, VIVA host, breast cancer survivor, and founder of the Mayte Prida Foundation brought breast cancer awareness to Pink Bras Exhibit, a special event at the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles, California. Dozens were displayed throughout the consulate, signed by celebrities nationwide such as Cesar Millán, Ralph Lauren, Beto Cuevas, Mario Cimarro, and Maria Conchita Alonso to show their support for this cause.
Breast cancer is the leading cause of death for Hispanic women. Early detection is key: If you are 40 or older, make sure you take preventative measures to detect cancer early.
