Enter speech therapist Darlene Williamson. She started the non-profit Stroke Comeback Center, a privately funded rehabilitation center that works with stroke victims when their benefits run out. Through constructive group sessions, cutting-edge technology and creative lower-cost therapy regiments, the center helps patients suffering from aphasia rewire their brains and their lives.
