The AAGE conference is a small-scale meeting devoted to anthropological and related approaches to aging research, with ample opportunities for interaction and discussions without the distractions of a larger conference. Those who attended past AAGE conferences found they provided extremely valuable opportunities to receive feedback on their work, hear “what’s happening” in the field of culture and aging, share tips on research techniques and resources, expand their AAGE networks, and reflect on and contribute to the direction of AAGE’s future development as an organization.
