Check Out On-Going Programs

The Driver Safety Program has four-hour classroom sessions in communities year-round, as well as online courses. Visit AARP’s Driver Safety page for a class near you.

CarFit, a joint program of AARP, AAA, and The American Occupational Therapy Association, gives older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles "fit" them. A trained professional asks some simple questions; then completes a 12-point CarFit checklist. The entire process takes about 20 minutes. If your group is having an event where you think a CarFit opportunity might work, contact Paulette Welch.

Tax Aide From Feb. 1 through April 15, AARP Tax-Aide volunteers prepare federal and state tax returns for middle and low-income taxpayers, with special attention to people 60 and older. For more information about promoting a Tax-Aide site in your community or becoming a local AARP Tax-Aide volunteer in Utah, please send an email
