In times like these, demand for help from local senior centers and food banks is increasing. In fact, more than 6 million people age 60 and older in America have trouble getting enough to eat. But you can help.
AARP, The Thurston County Food Bank and Senior Services urge to you help hungry families by participating in the Drive to End Hunger food drive.
Bring nonperishable food items or a cash donation to the Ralph’s Thriftway parking lot on Friday, September 9 from 9:00am – 2:00pm. Donations will benefit the Thurston County Food Bank and Senior Services for South Sound.
It takes just a little to give back a lot. Please donate from 9:00am – 2:00pm on Friday, September 9 at the Ralph’s Thriftway parking lot on East Fourth Avenue in Olympia.
