Images of Aging

As the enormous boomer generation prepares to pass from middle age into elderhood, misperceptions about what it means to be an old person still abound-so says University of Southern California researcher Alexis Abramson. She examined the gap between our society's views of older Americans and the REALITY of aging in a study sponsored by AARP called Images of Aging in America 2004. Abramson joins host Mike Cuthbert to discuss the results of the study.
