Now is the time of year when we ask you and all good friends of the AARP Foundation to renew their annual support.
With the support of you and all our Foundation friends in 2005, we will be able continue:
- Providing the training and skills necessary to help seniors who need jobs, find jobs. More than 400,000 low-income seniors across the country have already been helped by this crucial program.
- Assisting seniors in finding crucial benefits programs that help pay for, or defray the cost of, prescription drugs, health care, utilities and other necessities for living.
- Preparing tax returns for low and middle income seniors. During the last tax season alone, nearly 2 million returns were prepared.
- Fighting discrimination against older Americans.
- Protecting older Americans from fraud and misinformation.
