And since it's only available from about Thanksgiving to New Year's, we are always looking for new ways to enjoy this holiday delight. This eggnog French toast is the answer for an easy, inexpensive breakfast that can feed a crowd if family is home for the holidays.

Mushrooms are one of the workhorse vegetables for a meatless diet. The cremini and oyster mushrooms called for in this comforting hot soup provide a nice meaty texture and bite.
Dinner:
This meatless take on the French classic peasant dish is worth the time. Follow all the steps and the reward will be a hearty vegetarian rendition that will hold its own against the originals. Make this on a Sunday afternoon and enjoy it during busy weeknights.
