What could be better than a hot grilled cheese sandwich on a chilly fall afternoon? This recipe calls for cheddar cheese, but you could substitute gouda, Swiss or any favorite as long as it is not too soft.


Dinner:

Winter Spinach Salad With Roasted Pears, Blue Cheese Toasts and Cranberry Vinaigrette

This salad is a great choice to serve company this holiday season. Various parts of the recipe can be prepared ahead of time and tossed together at serving time.
