Breakfast:
Corn Blini  

A good corn blini recipe is something to hold on to, especially during the holidays. While this little pancake is great for breakfast with fruit and syrup, it is equally delightful as a savory appetizer with caviar and sour cream.

Lunch:
Pumpkin Vegetable Patties

Many cultures have favorite versions of little filled turnovers. The English have pasties and South Americans love empanadas. This recipe receives its inspiration from Jamaican cuisine. Filled with pumpkin and a few other veggies, serve these patties as a main dish with a side salad or an interesting appetizer for the upcoming holiday season.

Dinner:
Wheat Berry Salad With Pineapple and Cranberries

Wheat berries are a wonderfully chewy grain, which are excellent to incorporate into your weekly diet. They do require some soaking and an hour of cooking, but are wonderfully versatile in salads and soups. This dish is another wonderful inclusion for your holiday table as side dish or main event for the vegetarians in your family.
