Whether it's his day to be king of the kitchen, or time for a little break to relax, these are all good choices for everyone around the table.

1. Banana Pancakes by Jamie Oliver

There's no start to a perfect Father's Day like waking up to the aroma of pancakes — especially with steamy, sweet bananas. This breakfast dish is a treat with its caramel-like sauce and natural sweetness. What better way to start off the day, while giving Dad a little boost of vitamin B6, C, and potassium?

Per serving: 238 calories, 8 g fat, 7 g protein, 2 g fiber.

2. Blueberry Breakfast Muffins by Christopher Idone

Here's another breakfast recipe that will make Dad jump out of bed. These muffins are nutritious, delicious and easy to make. What more could you want? Make a batch of these and the whole family can enjoy them on Father's Day.

3. Almond-Coated Mahimahi With Mango Vinaigrette and Grilled Plantains by Linda Zimmerman
