Daniel Schorr

Remembering a journalism pioneer

The last of the legendary "Murrow's Boys," Daniel Schorr died July 23rd at age 93.  The celebrated, sometimes vilified (named on the infamous Nixon "enemies list") journalist was interviewed by Mike Cuthbert on Prime Time Radio in February 2008 on the occasion of the publication of his memoir: Come to Think of It: Notes on the Turn of the Millennium.  As always, he spoke his mind and offered his unique, seasoned take on the state of journalism—his profession for some eight decades.  It's well worth hearing again as we note his passing.
