AARP TV Programs Airing on Prairie Public

Two AARP television shows are airing every Saturday and Sunday on Prairie Public.

“My Generation” is a lively lifestyle magazine show features nationally known experts covering issues from health and money to relationships and volunteering. Hosted by Greg Williams (former sports anchor and winner of the prestigious Communicator Award) and Cynthia Steele Vance (CBS Morning News, ABCNEWS One), “My Generation” airs Saturday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. CDT and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. CDT. The show’s key areas of focus include health, money, relationships, entertainment, volunteering and getting the most out of life – all combined with inspiring profiles of individuals who make a difference by giving back and connecting with others.

AARP TV’s “Inside E Street” is an Emmy award-winning consumer affairs program hosted by veteran journalist Sheilah Kast (ABC News, CNN, NPR) and airs at 7 a.m. Saturdays. The show takes a non-partisan, civil look into issues critical to Americans, especially those 50 and older. News makers and key opinion leaders debate today’s hot topics, offering a balanced program that appeals to a broad audience. “Inside E Street” also follows issues before Congress and key state legislatures across the country.
