AARP members are entitled to a discounted holiday performance of Granny Dances to a Holiday Drum, a spirited celebration of holiday dance traditions from around the world.
Performed by the renowned Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, AARP members will be able to purchase tickets for $15, instead of the non-discounted senior price of $35 for this performance.
The reduced rate is available for two shows only at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 8 at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, 2344 E. Iliff Ave. in Denver. Tickets may be purchased by calling 303-871-7720, or online at newmantix.com and using the code: “CLEO2012” to get the discount.
This is the third year AARP Colorado has hosted the successful presentations by Cleo Parker Dance.
“We are thrilled to present this offering to our members again this year,” said Roberto Rey, AARP Colorado’s multicultural director. “This performance is really a celebration of dance from a number of cultures and it appeals to a broad range of people, and we encourage our members to take advantage of such a great performance by one of Denver’s finest institutions for the arts.”
