Grownup Stars Shine at the 2013 SAG Awards

The McCain-Palin ticket lost the 2008 presidential race, but Julianne Moore, 50, keeps winning for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in the HBO movie Game Change. The SAG award is her third, having won an Emmy and Golden Globe as well.

He's already won a Golden Globe for playing Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln. At the SAG Awards, Daniel Day-Lewis, 55, landed another best actor award, perhaps improving his already high odds of winning an Oscar in February.

Led by Ben Affleck, 40, the film's star/director (second from right), the cast of Argo took home the movie ensemble award, which may make the drama about Americans hiding in the Canadian Embassy during the Iran hostage crisis a contender for Oscar’s best picture.

A star of the big screen, small screen and stage too, Dick Van Dyke, 87, with his wife, make-up artist Arlene Silver, 41, was given the Screen Actors Guild lifetime achievement award.

Nominated for portraying Ouiser Boudreaux in Lifetime’s version of Steel Magnolias, Alfre Woodard, 60, stands out in a lime green Vivienne Westwood.

Last year, Jessica Lange, 63, won both Golden Globe and SAG best actress honors for FX’s American Horror Story: Asylum. She was nominated again this year for the same role and awards but didn't win.

Hugh Jackman, 44, nominated as best actor for Les Misérables, received admiration from his winning costar Anne Hathaway, 30, as they walked the red carpet before the show.

Nominated for her performance as Mary Todd Lincoln, Sally Field, 66, had fun with Lincoln costar Daniel Day-Lewis. As they introduced the movie, they traded reading glasses like any old married couple.

A double nominee for both TV and movie performances (Hemingway & Gellhorn and The Paperboy, respectively), Nicole Kidman, 45, opened the show but took home no awards.

Bryan Cranston, 56, with his wife, actress Robin Dearden, 49, shouted "It’s good to be bad!" when he won best actor in a television drama for AMC’s Breaking Bad. (He also received a SAG award for being part of Argo's winning cast.) 

Nominated for her starring role in CBS’s The Good Wife, Julianna Margulies, 46, was stunning in a Chado Ralph Rucci gown.

Don Draper had a new do! Jon Hamm, 41, who plays the 60s ad man on AMC’s Mad Men, attended with longtime love Jennifer Westfeldt, 42.
