George Strait  Here For a Good Time:  It's hard to believe this is the 39^th album released by George Strait. The standard bearer of the new traditional country sound, Strait keeps delivering hit songs and quality albums, and this one is no different. Check out the title track, which has been on Billboard's Country charts for over two months, and sets the tone for a positive and good time album.
 

Hugh Laurie  Let Them Talk:  The star of TV's House makes his recording debut with a joyous celebration of New Orleans blues. An accomplished pianist and singer, Laurie is joined by New Orleans legends Allen Toussaint, Dr. John and Irma Thomas. They seem to be enjoying themselves mightily on a set of Louisiana standards.
 

Lindsey Buckingham  Seeds We Sow:  Buckingham, the songwriting and musical force behind latter-day Fleetwood Mac, doesn't get as much attention for his recent string of solo records. But this self-released album, his third in five years, is worth your attention. It features a renewed focus on his melodic skill and introspective lyrics.
 

Various Artists  Listen To Me: The Songs of Buddy Holly:  It's a testament to Holly's continued influence and relevance that two cover albums accompany what would have been his 75^th birthday on Sept. 7. This one features loving tributes from Stevie Nicks, Ringo Starr and a beautiful take on "True Love Ways" by Jackson Browne.
