Hitting the High Note

The inspiring story of Ronan Tynan.

Ronan Tynan is considered a modern day Renaissance Man. First introduced to international audiences as a member of the Irish Tenors, he quickly became known for his amazing talent and ability to connect with others through music.

However, that’s only one part of his very special and inspiring story. Growing up disabled, Ronan's parents had little hope that their son would lead a normal life. But despite being dealt a bad hand, this Irish native went on to compete in the Paralympics where he took home 18 gold medals and broke 14 world records. After a few bumps in the road, Ronan earned his medical license and now spends much of his time giving back to others. When he's not practicing medicine or recording best-selling CDs, he's visiting U.S. troops throughout the world, giving motivational speeches and singing at Yankee Stadium.

My Generation has his inspiring story of perseverance and public service through music.
