Grateful Dead Drummer Mickey Hart: Rhythms of Life

Channeling the sounds of the universe

And Hart has science on his side. His partner in capturing the beats of the cosmos is Nobel Prize-winning astrophysicist George Smoot; and he's working with a team of medical researchers as he studies the healing effects of rhythmic stimuli.

My Generation takes a short — but not particularly strange — trip into Hart's new projects.
