Warner and Taylor remained good friends after their breakup, which could not be said of her relationships with all of her ex-husbands. But Taylor was a generous and loyal friend and she was a mother who adored the company of her children and grandchildren, some of whom gathered for Sunday dinners at Taylor’s home. Taylor died not in her comfortable home but in a hospital. At least she was surrounded by the children.
