Charles Grodin's Life Story

'How I Got to be Whoever it is I Am'

Charles Grodin Talks About His Memoir and Passion for Mentoring

Have you ever heard of a 10-year-old being impeached from his position as class president? It's not something that occurs every day; but it did happen to author and actor Charles Grodin.

Grodin writes about this humorous experience and many other misunderstandings he suffered while growing up in his memoir “How I Got to Be Whoever It Is I Am."

And you can learn about another side of Grodin in this longer interview with Prime Time Radio's Mike Cuthbert. Grodin is committed to the idea that mentoring is the best pathway for kids to become responsible grownups. But that requires adults to give of their time and expertise, as Grodin has done for years.
