Best Comedy: It's Complicated

It doesn't seem fair that we have to wait three years between Nancy Meyers comedies; as she proved with Something's Gotta Give, she's one of the few movie-makers with a perfect eye and ear for comedies that allow her middle-aged characters (in this case played by lovestruck Alec Baldwin and wary Meryl Streep) to be funny, smart, and endearingly stupid while remaining unmistakably grownup.
