Following 2009’s critically acclaimed The Maid (Sundance's World Cinema Grand Jury Prize winner), Chile’s Sebastian Silva returns to Sundance with Old Cats (Gatos Viejos), a black comedy about aging, senility and the loss of independence. Old Cats depicts a fierce mother/daughter conflict, as an old woman attempts to hide her advancing senility from her controlling daughter. This movie stars the two female leads from The Maid.
