Why are More Men Opting for Cosmetic Surgery?

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons women accounted for 91 percent of all cosmetic procedure in 2009, but men had 1.2 million last year, up 2 percent from 2009. 

“Men have always been lagging behind women’s acceptance of cosmetic surgery as part of their normal aging process,” said Michael Olding, chief of plastic surgery at the George Washington University Medical Center, “but I think it’s no longer out of the norm.” Read
