Down the bustling streets of New York City walks fashion photographer Ari Seth Cohen. Always on the lookout for the most bold, brave and beautiful people over 50, he’s determined to capture the next generation of style.

In his blog, Advanced Style, he showcases the most stylish and creative older Americans who are living life to the fullest and proving that elegance only gets better with age. “What I’ve learned about style is…you don’t stop being creative, you don’t stop being vital, you don’t stop being stylish at a certain age,” he says. “When I see an older woman who’s graceful and elegant, she wears her clothes with confidence and she really has a sense of who she is.”

Whether it’s donning a plush designer scarf or bringing new personality to a vintage dress, these street models are revealing that fashion certainly doesn’t stop with age. My Generation tags along with the avant-garde photographer on his search for picture-perfect people.
