Many of us know little about the people living right next door or across the street. Peter Lovenheim’s affluent upstate New York neighborhood was no different until a murder-suicide shook the community to its core. So, Lovenheim grabbed his pillow, knocked on doors and asked if he could stay the night in an effort to really get to know his neighbors. He chronicled his sleepovers and quest to know the people around him in: In the Neighborhood: The Search for Community on an American Street, One Sleepover at a Time. Listen as he shares his experiences with Prime Time Radio host Mike Cuthbert.
