It's called physically integrated dance—in which people with and without disabilities perform together on stage professionally. However, for disabled professional dancer Mary Verdi-Fletcher, it will always be called 'Dance Fever.' In the '70s, wheelchair bound Verdi-Fletcher, with her able-bodied partner, appeared on the TV show, and danced her way into history - and has never stopped.
Independent producer Mary Anne Meyers brings us the story how both the able and disabled are cutting a rug and taking a twirl across the dance floor, and doing everything but sitting still.
