Get Into the Act with AARP and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival

To help celebrate its 75th birthday, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival is offering AARP members a special, one-time 10 percent discount off of any performances the weekend of Aug. 27-29.

The Festival’s 2010 line-up is features11 plays, including four from the Bard: Hamlet, Henry IV, Merchant of Venice, and Twelfth Night. Other favorites on tap this year include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Pride and Prejudice, She Loves Me, and Ruined.

Members can order online (will need to register and create login) with the promo code of “AARP” or by calling the OSF Box Office at 800-219-8161 toll-free. There is no limit to the amount of discounted tickets that can be purchased. All other shows outside of the listed discount dates will be regular price.

“To be or not to be in Ashland this August is the question,” says Jerry Cohen, AARP Oregon State Director. “We are excited and proud to work with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival during its 75th birthday year.”

Tickets typically sell out fast for summer performances, so members are encouraged to order quickly.
