Service Call Tips

Here are a few tips for making sure service calls go well.

  • Take good notes and make sure you get the name of everyone you speak with.
  • Time is money. Have all purchase and guarantee paperwork handy so that you don’t take time out of the appointment to search for those things.
  • Inspect the work and test all items before the worker leaves.
  • If there are unresolved issues, make a note on the work order before you sign it and get a copy. Call customer service while the worker is still there to arrange for a follow-up visit.
