Courting Veterans' Voices

Frederick Bush

Retired Army Air Corp Lt. Col. Frederick Bush was 89 years old when he was interviewed. His hearing was all but gone. His daughter, Diane, uses a special microphone to speak into so her Dad can hear her.  Court reporting student Leah Pouncey takes down the interview. Bush was a highly decorated bomber pilot who flew out of England during the war to run air raids on Germany, specifically East Berlin. He died in February 2008.
