Sixty years old, 165 pounds, 5 feet 5 inches, not happy with this. Not happy, but petrified to change. It's so comfortable to do my daily routine, eat my routine foods, do my routine activities. What a BORE! I want out, but am petrified to try. So many failures in the past. So many successes and then relapses. How do you make a change in life that will LAST a lifetime? I know I can't do it alone. I need help, I need a cheering gallery. I need people to call my bluff and tell me you're ****. You can do it, stop making excuses.
Shish Koom Bah, Rah, Rah, Rah....you CAN do it. Remember that always. Change is hard but change also can be very, very good.. I'm in that space in my own life, so contact me if you want to vent, need support and cheering on. Hugs
The journey of a lifetime starts with the first step . . . go for it. The first time I decided to exercise, I only worked out for 15 minutes. I knew I wasted that much time each and I wouldn't be setting myself up for failure. I eventually worked up to 45 minutes a day. But if I was too busy for 45 minutes and only did 10 minutes, I figured 10 minutes was better than none. Don't expect miracles overnight and don't be tough on yourself. Picture yourself and your life the way you would want it to be and focus on that.
Hope you find what brings you happiness!
Have a Great Day!
Carol :-)
