no, my akita is not mean but if she does not know you she will raise the hair on her back and bark at you. she really is sweet she just protects her territory. yes i ride horses i ride english and western. i love horse and would like to own one but they can be a big expensive to care and feed. i can understand the fear you have for horses and i think it is the size of them but you get over it once you start riding. oh i don't mind writing to you every day i don't want you to be lonely. infact i am giving you my email addr so we can be more private since aarp is not. my email address is tearose4729@aol.com...gotta go a little tired today and i just want to lay down. i have a migrane so i have to take my medicine hoping that it will go away so i can go to work tomorrow..take care until next time....Bonnie

i got dukebrat from my favorite basketball team @duke university here in north carolina..could not think of anything else to put i suppose i should have put something more girly then that but it keeps people wondering if i am a female or male..lol...i have several animals but the new one is a fawn pug. she is 6 mnths old and quite a charater..(you will have to excuse my spelling since you are a retired teacher)..i have an akita who lives outside and is 11 yrs old and a few cats to boot...they are mousers so i don't get them in my house since i practically live in the woods...my job is working for citi cards as a collector and to tell you the truth i have done it for 12 yrs and it doesn't get easier to collect money on past due accts with the recession. you would not believe all the sad stories that i hear each day. the weather here is nice around the 70's during the day and 50's during the night but it gets very hot here in the summer. i live in a great state beach to the east and mountains to the west...i actually live in the middle of the state and it takes about 4 hours each way to get to the beach or mountains. well i think thats about all i can write for the characters so i bid you good-night and ill write tommorrow

Hi dukebrat ... I love that name, I like creative unusual things ;) Comes from being around kids all my life teaching I think ;) Don't worry about the spelling, I pay no attention unless it is un-readable !! spelling is a born talent !! Most people don't know that and I haven't noticed any anyhow. Is your Akita "mean" to others ? I have heard they can be very protective and "mean" ? I know Pugs, one of my favorite students had one and I had her 2 years when i moved up a grade and I got to know pugs, they are cute, I have several neighbors with pugs ;) OH, you know how to ride a horse. !! I was raised a city girl, but one of my goals before I die is to learn how to ride, not fancy, just to ride them. I have several people around here who would be glad to help me, it is just something I'd like to be able to know how to do. I am kind of afraid of them, but I know they know that and I can overcome that. I'm not usually a scaredy cat of much. My X owns Belgians, they are gorgeous. You don't have to write me every day as I know working full time and raising teens is a huge undertaking, been there done that ;) I bet it gets humid in our area in the summer ? We don't get that here, we do get in the 90's and low 100's most of the summer , but no humidity and it cools off at night. OK, over and out. Have a good one, WEndy

Hi dukebrat ( so curious as to where you got this name ;)
Thanks for keeping in touch, it really does help, It is sad to go to my emails and there is nothing. That is what CFIDS does to a person, cut them off from social events, so I really appreciate your emails. We have had the most beautiful spring here that I have seen in 34 years ! Just perfect, in the 70's and soft wind, pretty blossoms and spring flowers. What is it like in your state ? I have only lived in Calif and WA. Tell me about your puppy ! i love animals, I have 3 shihtzus, and I'm sorry if I repeat myself, but I forget what I have shared :) what do you do for work ? I went outside today and took digi pics of my yard and plants and garden area BEFORE it all blooms and grows !! Then when it does grow, it will be nice to compare, It is afternoon nap time for this Chronic Fatigue person, and I must do it ;) Hope you day goes well, WEndy

Hello --how's your Monday going? Hope you are having a good day. I certainly understand the "bad" days. Guess we all have them to some extent. How was your Mother's day? I had a really good day. Saw all my sons but one, and he was working, by the time he got off we were at church. Had a pretty good turn out at church (gfor us) we are a really small church.

Hi Janice, loved looking at some of your photos ;) Wow you are a grandma and a great grandma !! I just had my first grand 3 years ago and I now have 2 and 2/9 grand babies, my daughters children. But oh how I love them so. I have always loved kids, babies and young people !! My Mothers Day was nice, the grands came and took me out for ice cream and brought me a gift. My son called from UT. I'm thrilled you had a good turn out at church, Go God !! I love to garden and I actually copied and pasted your "How to Plant a Garden" because I thought it was so great ;) OK, I better clean house for at least a bit ;) Wendy
