Once upon a time some of our ancestors, not to far removed, faced with an unfair government that was broken seemingly beyond repair, ventured to a new world and started over. We have taken a government designed to be fair and non-oppressive; that they gave their lives to create, and turned it into a conglomeration of entitlement-minded leeches with their hands out. You wanna talk about your special interest groups!
Why did they not build government hospitals from the git-go?
The same reason they didn’t build churches! Because they didn’t want a government to provide them with anything except freedom, secure borders and a system to keep it that way. Look what has happened! The culture of career politicians picked up on the fact that they could profit from the emotional appeals of the disadvantaged and the fragments of the failed family structure and created what has become the 2 ring circus we have today. We have now a government that is equivalent to an old car that is so rusty it would crumble into a pile if it weren’t for all the bondo holding it together. Worse yet, we have the legislature, the Supreme Court (what a name) and Rebate Bush mixing up a new batch of bondo every day. The question becomes, “is it too broke to fix?” There’s no more New Worlds on this planet to go to.
My first suggestion is to you moderates, centrists, middle-of-the-roaders and undecided out there. SHUT UP AND STAY AT HOME IN NOVEMBER!!! Please leave the decisions to the passionate, the informed and the engaged. Just close your mouth. You people would have stayed in England in the first place. And for those of you in that group that are biblical scholars, God called you lukewarm. Remember what happened then?
My second suggestion is, if you are employing undocumented illegal aliens, make sure your family has access to your offshore bank accounts. They’re going to need the money while you’re serving your sentence, building fence at the border.
My final thought for the day is whoever you are, whatever puts food in your mouth and clothes on your back, did you earn it or are you just entitled to it? Remember…. it’s the pursuit of happiness…… not the silver platter of happiness.

For the record "Werner52" the original improved roads in our young country were privately ownde toll roads and all the rest, but private wells & outhouses wouldn't work in NYC or any big city these days.
