Thank you for your comments. That video is so touching. I have dial up so you can imagine how long it took before I could play it. Was well worth it. That is one of my favorite songs. Am still choked up.
And most of the time we have to cook for both armies so have to have something with a little size to it. Plus we go the whole nine yards, not just goober pea soup for our boys
Ah, The good old days only ours wasn't that fancy.It was what they called a buddy burner only homemade. A coffee can with holes around the bottom and a Tuna can with rolled up cordboard with wax poued over it and a string inserted to light it. Or just a hole in the ground with some coals in it.
