About Me

Born here in Springfield 4/18/50, after graduation from Springfield South High School, moved to Fresno, California. Lived in various states/locations out west until I returned to Springfield Aug of 2006. Plan on staying "home". Am mother of 4 girls, grandmother to 13, none of which live here in Ohio.

Interests:
Bowling, Web surfing, reading, crocheting. Am organizing a family reunion for summer of 2009---any thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be welcome.

Family Reunion

Am trying to get a family reuion organized for the summer of 2009.  Has anyone out there had an this experience?  We used to have one, usually put together by my dad who has since passed and one of my brothers.  My brother Bill then took over, but it has been dwindling to where the last one was held in 2004.  So I thought it was time to get it together again.  I think one of the problems was the location, but I won't go there for right now.  Needless to say, am going to try to get the location changed.  I have started putting out a family newsletter to help start generating interest again.  Anybody have any other suggestions?  I really could use all the help I can get.  My brother will be able to help, but it would be long-distance help as he lives in New Jersey.  Thanks, everyone for any assist. vickimainspring

Thanks lisa32258. It took a summer to make that flag and now it takes up a whole wall in the living room. It is a treasure! Mr Ed had weighed up to about 25 pounds, but was losing so much weight due to feline cancer, as much as we didn't want to lose him, we finally had to put him down. I know he was feeling miserable. And he was 17 years old, so he had had a good long,m spoiled life. Still miss him, though!
