About Me

This fella who presently lives in a desert city on southwest Texas was born in city of gold...San Francisco, California some years back but got transported to my present locale when was but a wee lad. Presently I am head custodian and keeper of the keys at my present place of employment...I make sure that the campus stays clean and safe firstly for our kids, teachers and visitors that happen to come on the grounds.

Interests:
handmade cards, poster making, miniatures, lite cooking ( I will experiment in the kitchen); spectator of football, basketball, rugby and hockey...and whenever I get a chance I am an outdoors fella...I enjoy hiking, walking, reading and just plain have fun on my computer...

Hello,
I also work on an educational campus, but I am the librarian. I enjoy the children and also try to keep my smile for each of them.
I see you like to create handmade cards. I have thought of getting creative in this way, but usually just help my grandaughters create something for their Mom's, cousins, etc. I have watched several shows on handmade greeting cards. Do you use the stamps, cutouts, etc. that I have seen demonstrated on TV? Is it really as easy as they make it seem?

I try them with a little bit of everything...I've even done some pop-ups and origami. Hard? not really, all you have to do is use your creativity

Hello Uncle Louie....I'm glad you carry that jar of smiles and share with others especially with those kids on the campus. I also worked with children in Denver, CO. for many years. I always had a smile to give to them. Sometimes that is all they need to make their day. Kids are very precious and a blessing. My dad was also a head custodian in the schools. Now I work at a campus which holds 3 universities and still carrying that jar of smiles. Thanks for your quote. Stella
