Hi Tommy... Tuesdays are usually my best days... clearer thoughts, write, paint. Hoping this is one of your good days, too! Glad to read (above messages) that Thanksgiving with Sommer went well. One day at a time works for me. Keep well my friend. Hugs. ~Sharlet

How have you been? Hope you are having good times with the grandchildren. Today has been one of my better days in a while. Trying to do a little for Christmas, but that will be primarily for Sommer and Briar. You know how that goes. I've had Ken on my mind a lot here lately but only a couple times was it hard on me. Some images just never go away. Of all the memory I have lost from the concussions, it seems as though sometimes I only lost the good ones of Ken. I am getting a little better at bringing back a good memory most of the time when the bad ones try to creep in. Hard to explain. The two people who I could confide in and trusted more than anyone in the world are both gone. My son Kenny, and my sister, Pat. She was taken by cancer in 1994 at age 51. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. Never knew anyone who did not like her. I spent some time last week one day visiting with my only living relative from my mother's generation, her youngest sister who will be 84 in Feb. I always enjoy my visits with Mary. I have a Great Aunt of my dad's who is 94 and going strong I need to go see next trip to the south side of Nashville. She's all there is other than distant cousins on that side. Small family, I only have six first cousins living on mom's side and dad only had one sister who died at 14 months. Got on this subject I think because it seems to be a family tradition to have a funeral just before Christmas. Bright thoughts... Happy thoughts.. Now.. Now... Now.. Take care, my friend, Bless you, TOMMY

Thanks, I needed that one. It's been a rough few weeks after having a tooth pulled and getting a "dry socket". I had never had one but my mother always did and really be in pain. I was told that Diabetes is one of the things that cause them, along with smoking, drinking through a straw and a few others. Anything that keeps pulling or disolving the clot. Just as I was getting over it I get Bronchitis and that has caused the tooth hole to open back up. But we had a pretty good Thanksgiving and things are a little better, not much, but enough that Sommer feels safe. This wonderful Middle Tennessee wearther is enough to drive you nuts. About ten days ago it was around 80 degrees, then on that Thursday night a front came through with the high temp on Friday the 21st at 39 and that was at 1 in the morn. Daylight high was 35 on down to 14 by Sat morn then back to the 50's Sun and Monday it was a low of 53 and a high of 56, rained all day, then Tue, Wed and Thanksgiving it was lows of 26 and highs in the 60's and sunny and now back to a rainy morn at 40 degrees and the rain has gone for now but they are calling for snow Sunday night and Monday. Early, but not unheard of. In 84 on Corey's 12th birthday we were camped out at Land Between the Lakes and a cold front cme in on Friday night after being in the 60's we were in a tent that got a good insulation of ice from freezing rain and woke up with 4 inches of snow and 9 degrees. The ice on the tent and the snow kept the real cold out kinda like an igloo. I kept waiting for it to collaspe but it never did. Hope all is well with you. I'm going back to the woods for a while in a few min. Friend always, TOMMY
