Some years. I'm about 65 miles west of Nashville near Kentucky lake and we average about 11 inches a year. We get too many ice storms though. Where I live, our 5 deepest snows have been in March or April. 20 inches April 1, 86 was the most but this one was 14 here, It does not last long, but it is beautiful when it changes slowly from rain to a wet heavy snow with no wind. Not so pretty when it drops from 60 to 10 in 12 hours during a rainstorm
