About Me
I came to this from the AARP Communispace project, which was a community of folks recruited to help AARP do some market and general research about perceptions, value and ideas related to AARP. The group had some lively, enthusiastic and stimulating discussions about a variety of topics, and ran for about six months, from October to March.
I work part-time for a social service agency, from which I used to receive services for mental illness. I am now a consultant to them, helping with some staff and company development programs, and in their computer recycling program to provide computers and Internet access for clients in the programs receiving services.
I am also a member of the Board of Directors of both this agency, and a volunteer lawyers project providing free, civil legal aid to low-income people.
Interests:
I ride a bicycle and walk for much of my transportation, and for hobbies, enjoy studying foreign languages. Currently, I'm a beginner in Russian, about intermediate in French, and advanced in Spanish. I like fixing appliances and working on mechanical things, like bicycles, cars and PCs. I volunteer for two town committees, a bicycle and pedestrian advisory committee, and a human relations commission.My Photos (4)
