This is the first post ever on my blog, Thing of it is..

Thing of it is... live in Las Vegas. Not too many geeks in Vegas and maybe I'm the only one with a blog. It's not going to be one of those boring my daily boring life blogs, so don't try to avoid me just yet. There will be some tech here and what ever the hell else I find is interesting, cool or even good and stupid. I don't have an especially tight plan laid out. See, I'm extremely hyper in my head (currently working on the Theory of Everything); the rest of me not so much.

Just to let you know, it's a little after 5p.m. and partly cloudy here in Sin City and it's 103 degrees. Locals say, that it's a dry heat and not as hot. As hot as what? 103 is 103. When you can fry bacon on the hood of your car... in the morning, it doesn't matter how dry it is. Too much hairspray and you could easily be a victim of spontaneous combustion. Am I kidding? Not really.

Don't get me wrong.I love living in Vegas. I choose to live like a vampire in the summertime and usually only go out at night. (Good thing this is a 24hr town.) Not too many places where you can spend money at the supermarket and use the change to win your money back before you hit the exit? Now that's cool.
