About Me

Born & raised in Texas and now living in South Florida with my hubbie and son. My daughter is in college at USF in St. Petersburg, FL and also have a step son living close by. The old saying, 'Once a Texan, always a Texan' is so true. I miss seeing my dear friends and family so much. Hope to retire in Texas near Austin in the Hill Country so plan to move back to the Great State in a couple of years. Love my job! I couldn't ask for a better boss and my team of professionals are a god send. Love to go on rides with the hubbie on the Harley and a day at the beach is heaven. I'm a homebody so a day at home with the family for a cookout near the pool and a good book are also a treasure.

I am so glad to see that everyone is enjoying Love To Cook! This forum has really grown and I know I refer back to it often for helpful recipes and tips. I need to ask a favor of all of you. As recipes are added, PLEASE post in an existing category if there is one that that fits or make a new category for your recipe. This would make searching for recipes much easier. And as you know from reading any of my posts, the easier the better works for me! THANKS MUCH!!
