My mom's grandparents on her dad's side. Joseph Schindler, Jr. and Jennie Smith. This photo was taken about 1902 on their farm in Tappen, ND. He was born in Austria, she was born in Missouri. Family stories suggest she was Native American but I can't verify that. The children in front are Anna, John, and the little guy up front is my grandpa Joe. 1902
