How I wish I lived near that dog training center! Last summer I was riding with my daughter and her children when a big dog walked right into the center of the road. We stopped, and as the dog walked past I saw she was skin and bones. Of course we had to lure her to us and into the car...and that was just the beginning of our relationship with Brynn.
Brynn is now neutered, and is a young Pit mix just bubbling over with love for everyone, an exhuberant joy for sheer living, a keen sense of humor, and unbounded energy. She runs like a greyhound and leaps like a deer, she loves children, our orange tiger cat, and our little YorkiePoo. I know she would love the sports offered in that center...maybe especially that one where they do the leaping to and from grabbing a ball (I don't know what that one is called).
One of my DILs is a runner, and they love running together...unfortunately, she lives 15 hours away (if only I were still in my 30's for Brynn's sake).
I believe she would also be a sweet dog to train as a therapy dog as she matures. She is so loving and gentle with everyone (except for a lively puppy welcome when someone first arrives).
I would love to find centers for training her in both these directions.
