Meet Bailey, a yorkie-poo who will be 15 this June. We have been giving her IV treatments for the last year for kidney failure and she has lost her hearing and most of her eye sight but she still gives us all her love and bounces around the house.
Thank you for your comment BJ, and yes she is a real sweetie. The cut my groomer does on Bailey is just a simple puppy cut. I never liked my dogs hairs short so I ask the groomer to leave them soft and fuzzy. I also ask for them not to shave their tummies as that tends to make then lick the scratchy short hairs or get an irritation from the blades. I am a hairdresser by trade but I would be afraid to try cutting my own dogs hair.
Awwww...she's beautiful! Our little DaisyMae is a 7yo YorkiePoo...what a character she is! (She is posted in my profile, along with a wild friend fom a couple years ago)
I love Bailey's groom, too...do you do it yourself? I tried once to groom Daisy, but found it almost impossible with her fine hair! I don't see how the groomers do it...maybe I just don't have the right tools! I used to groom our two Miniature Schnauzers years ago with no problem.
I wish Bailey comfortable good health for the remainder of her years. She looks like a real sweetie.
