GOD MADE OUR WORLD ALL LIVING THINGS

"In the beginnin God created the heavens and the earth." - Gen 1:1

"For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth." - Col 1:16

"May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S; but the earth He has given to the children of men." - Ps 115:15-16

The earth was perfect when God gave it to man.

GOD MADE US

"Then God said, 'Let Us make make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion [rule] over all the earth.'" - Gen 1:26

MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul*." - Gen 2:7

"And the LORD God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper.' And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man." - Gen 2:18, 21-22

*A living soul means we shall be somewhere forever.

ADAM AND EVE DISOBEYED GOD

We should never listen to the voice of Satan.

"Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, 'Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you should not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shell surely die.'" - Gen 2:15-17

THE SERPENT, ALSO CALLED THE DEVIL OR SATAN, QUESTIONED GOD'S AUTHORITY AND TOLD A LIE.

"And the serpent said to the woman, 'You will not surely die.' So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took and ate. She also gave to her husband and he ate." - Gen 3:4, 6

ADAM AND EVE COULD NO LONGER STAY IN THE GARDEN

"The LORD God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. He placed cherubim and a flaming sword to guard the way to th tree of life." - Gen 3:23-24

IT WAS A SAD DAY FOR THE HUMAN RACE WHEN ADAM AND EVE SINNED

"Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spreed to all men." - Rom 5:12

Something to Remember

Every person is born with the sin nature and will someday die because death came by sin. (Read Rom 5:12 again.)

GOD'S PLAN TO RESCUE US FROM SIN WAS TO SEND HIS ONLY SON

"And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." - Matt 1:21

To enter, the human race, the Son of God had to come as a human baby.

"For in Him [Christ Jesus] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." - Col 2:9

JESUS CHRIST - OUR PERFECT SACRIFICE

"Who knew no sin." - 2 Cor 5:21

No sacrifice (offering0 man could make was PERFECT enough to take away sin.

"For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins." - Heb 10:4

Jesus is the Lamb of God. "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" - John 1:29

JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE TO SAVE US

Jesus was nailed to a wooden cross because cruel people hated Him. But His death was God's plan. Jesus, of HIs own free will, laid down His life to save you and me from our sin.

Jesus said, "No one takes it [My life] from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again." - John 10:18

WE ARE REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF GOD LAMB

"You were not redeemed [broght back] with corruptible things, like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." - 1 Pet 1:18-19

NO OTHER SACRIFICES CAN TAKE AWAY SIN

"We have been sanctified [make holy] through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." - Heb 10:10

"Having now been justified [counted righteous] by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." - Rom 5:9

"Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." - Luke 23:42

"I say ti you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." - Luke 23:43

"Where we were still sinners [disobedient to God], Christ died for us." - Rom 5:8

ALL WHO BELIEVE IN GOD'S SON HAVE LIFE

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." - John 3:16

"He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated [transferred] us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption* through His blood, the forgiveness of sins." - Col 1:13-14

*Redemption means we have been bought back.

"HE IS RISEN!"

"But the angel answered the said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said Come, see the place where the Lord lay.'" - Matt 28:5-6

JESUS CAME UP FROM THE DEAD

"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hedes [hell] and the Death." - Rev 1:18

"Because I live, you will live also." - John 14:19

Because Christ has conquered death and has the keys to death, we no londer need to fear death.

"Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You." - Ps 56:3

JESUS CAN SAVE YOU AND IS PRAYING FOR YOU

"But He, because He continues forever, He is also able to save to the uttermost [completely] those who come to God through Him, since He ever lives to make intercassion [pleading] for them." - Heb 7:24-25

YOU AND I CAN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

Which road are YOU taking?

Jesus Christ is the WAY to eternal LIFE with God.

The devil (Satan) is the way to eternal DEATH.

WHICH CHOICE WILL YOU MAKE?

"Choose for yourslves this day whom you will serve." - Joshua 24:15

"Therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live." - Deut 30:19

JESUS IS THE WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12

"I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior." - Is 43:11

WHY MUST WE CHOOSE JESUS IF WE WANT ETERNAL LIFE?

1. It is Christ who came.

"I have come that they may have life." - John 10:10

2. It is Christ who loved us and died for us.

"The Son of God loved me and gavce Himself for me." - Gal 2:20
