It wasn't the republicanswho have caused the crisis that this country is in it was the democrats who put the pressure on the lending institutions to make mortgage loans to people with, No credit, no-money down,no jobs etc etc. Bill Clinton's administration strong-armed the lending companies to make those bad security risk loands and now you liberals want to pass the blame over onto the Republicans, well step up to the plate and acknowledge that it was democrats like Barney Franks who stood in the way of reform measures that the Republican party tried to put in place to correct the mess that was and is Fannie Mae, by the way, ran by the Democratic parties, give the farm away, Raines, Johnson, etc.

As a former republican (now an independent), I NEED TO HEAR SARAH PALIN STATE HER POSITION. I can no longer consider Voting for McCain / Palin ticket unless I hear from her own mouth what she thinks, what she knows and what she stands for. I will not again make the same mistake I made in voting for Bush the first time.
