I'm sure exercising is good for you. Survey says it is. It's good for your heart, your waistline and some ailments that you might have, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, etc, etc.
Well one day I was at exercising class.....we were going through boot camp. I was doing the tire thing. Don't really know what you call it, but the guys might know it from football boot camp. You put your feet through the tires lifting your legs as high as you can. Good workout, I must say. Gets your heart to pumping and works those legs and behind. Of course, ladies, we all want a nice behind, so we do what we must do. Little did I know that I would end up on my behind with my ankle twisted in the tire. Yes, everybody, I sprained my ankle.
After going home and putting some ice on it, I hobbled around on it for 2 weeks. I finally went to the doctor and had x rays and found out it was broken. The doctor asked me why it took me so long to get a x ray and I told him I think I was in denial and didn't want to admit that it might be broken. Well, now I'm in a cast to the knee and have pretty silver crutches. I'd kick myself in the behind if I had 2 good legs to do it with.
I shouldn't have waited so long. I would just about be out of this cast by now. I leave for my cruise in 3 weeks and I don't want to be trying to maneuver around with a cast and crutches. I'm so mad at myself.
