About Me

Hello, Friends. My name is Nancy, SWF, 62 years-old, frosted hair, hazel eyes, formerly from southeastern Pennsylvania now residing in Lexington, KY. I'm on here to meet new friends. It seems harder and harder to find nice guys who would like to date and perhaps continue into a serious relationship. They all expect you to still look like a model after age 60, even though they are far from a Mr. Universe! I love traveling, flea markets, yard sales, photography, dancing to the 1970s music, nice looking cars (classic cars are my favorite), and taking day trips to no place in particular

Interests:
I have loved horse racing since I was 7 years old. My family took a trip to Lexington in 1958 when I was 10 and I was in awe of the thoroughbred and vowed that I would live here someday. Someday has come and I have lived in Lexington for 9 years now. Some of my hobbies are cross stitch (I give them as gifts for birthdays, Christmas, etc.), rug hooking, decorating hats, collecting Kentucky Derby glasses, and most anything horse-related. I have volunteered my time at a thoroughbred retirement center called Old Friends in Georgetown, KY. It is run by Michael Blowen and his wife, Diane who are angels in disguise caring for these wonderful old horses who might otherwise have been euthanized

I was at Ft. McClellan during Feb & March of 79. I was in the army from 79-81. I joined under the civilian acquird skills program (CASP) they are still using that program too. That meant that I already had skills so they didn't have to send me to AIT. And, when I got out of boot camp I wasn't a slick sleeve, I was a PFC.

because I live in Alabama, I knew not to go to boot camp during the months that you went! I didn't want the heat or the bugs!
